NOT WHAT WE NEED.

DADDY'S LITTLE POLITICIAN
Jim Kingston, the 35-year-old son of former longtime Coastal Georgia Congressman Jack Kingston, is hoping to follow in his father's footsteps and trade the insurance business for a seat in the U.S. Congress.
Critics of his Republican primary campaign have questioned his experience and accused him of benefiting from his father's political legacy. With a familiar last name and established political connections, Kingston's candidacy raises a question worth asking: How much does a family name matter in the race for Congress?
Like his father more than three decades ago, Jim Kingston is looking to make the leap from insurance to Washington. But while the name may be familiar, his congressional experience is not.
FROM ATLANTA TO THE 1ST DISTRICT
Even his own Republican Primary opponents criticized Kingston over his years living in Atlanta and questioned his connection to the district.
Jim Kingston spent much of his adult life living in Atlanta.
Now, he wants to represent Georgia’s 1st Congressional District, a district centered around Savannah and stretching across much of Coastal Georgia.
His voter registration was updated in 2025 to list a residence in Chatham County, while his mailing address remained his Buckhead condominium in Atlanta.

ONE TODDLER ENDORSING ANOTHER
On April 14, 2026, President Donald Trump endorsed Jim Kingston in the Republican primary for Georgia’s 1st Congressional District.
In his endorsement, Trump described Kingston as a “MAGA warrior” and highlighted Kingston’s father, former Congressman Jack Kingston, calling him a “GREAT Former Congressman from Georgia.” Trump also said the Kingston family were “fierce advocates” for the MAGA movement.
Kingston subsequently featured Trump’s endorsement prominently in his campaign, describing himself as a committed Trump conservative. His campaign website identifies him as the candidate endorsed by Trump.

SUPPORT OUR
PROJECT
The Savannah Liberty PAC has launched this website to help voters learn more about Mr. Kingston's background, experience, and lack of qualifications. Our campaign will include television commercials, digital advertising, and billboards throughout the district to reach voters before Election Day.
To make this project a reality, we need to raise
$30,000 in a very short time.
